Why we started RAMSTUGA

We founded RAMSTUGA together out of a shared love for Swedish nature, calm, and simplicity. Living and working in this environment has taught us how valuable silence, space, and natural materials are.

We want to bring that atmosphere into homes — especially Swedish interiors — through handcrafted frames that don’t shout for attention, but instead bring calm.

Our frames are carefully made from reclaimed wood. Every piece of wood has already had a life and carries its own story. We give it a new purpose — pure, honest, and with respect for nature.
